Tutkimustulokset osoittavat, ett\u00e4 kun HPMC:n annostus on noin 0,4%, laastin vedenpid\u00e4tyskyky voi l\u00e4hesty\u00e4 100%:t\u00e4. Yleens\u00e4 suositeltu HPMC-annos on 0,1%\u20130,5% laastin kokonaismassasta. Tavallisessa muurauslaastissa annostus 0,2%\u20130,3% riitt\u00e4\u00e4 t\u00e4ytt\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4n vedenpid\u00e4tysvaatimukset; ulkok\u00e4ytt\u00f6\u00f6n tarkoitetussa rappauslaastissa, joka vaatii parempaa vedenpid\u00e4tyskyky\u00e4 ja halkeamankest\u00e4vyytt\u00e4, annostusta voidaan nostaa asianmukaisesti arvoon 0,3%\u20130,5%.<\/span><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"ds-markdown-paragraph\"><span class=\"\">On syyt\u00e4 huomata, ett\u00e4 kun annostus ylitt\u00e4\u00e4 0,6%, laastin juoksevuus itse asiassa heikkenee, ja liiallinen viskositeetti voi aiheuttaa \u201claastin tarttumista laastikauhaan\u201d -ilmi\u00f6n, mik\u00e4 heikent\u00e4\u00e4 rakentamisen tehokkuutta.
