How Does Redispersible Polymer Powder Work in Self-Leveling Mortar?
RDP works by dispersing into a polymer emulsion when combined with water. During the curing of self-leveling mortar, polymer particles coalesce to form a continuous, flexible film within the cement matrix.
This film improves adhesion to substrates, enhances cohesion between cement particles, and provides elasticity to absorb stress. The result is a level, durable, y crack-resistant surface with superior wear and impact resistance.
