How Does HEMC Work in Drymix Mortar
When mixed into dry mortar formulations, HEMC forms a colloidal film around cement or gypsum particles. This film helps regulate water evaporation and improves the hydration process. The result is a mix that retains water efficiently, spreads smoothly, and bonds strongly to the substrate.
HEMC also enhances the stability of the mixture, preventing material separation or sagging during application.
